What Does W.O.T. Stand For?
W.O.T. is an abbreviation for Women Of Tomorrow.
We call the young ladies the W.O.T. Girls as a constant reminder that they are working on the girls that they are today to create the Women that they want to be tomorrow.
What Is A W.O.T. Girl?
A W.O.T. Girl is a young lady who has decided that she wants to work on the girl that she is today so that she can create the best version of herself.
A W.O.T. Girl understands the values of S.I.S.T.E.R.H.O.O.D. and she understands that she doesn’t have all the answers.
Who Are The Invisible Youth?
The invisible youth are those who don’t feel seen by one or all of the three important P’s: Parents, Professionals, or Peers. The invisible youth include but are not limited to girls who live within low-income and underserved communities, girls who are military dependents, and girls who are currently in the care of the state.
Through Empowerment: We provide the Women Of Tomorrow (our W.O.T. Girls) with the tools needed to make positive decisions and lead fulfilling lives.
Through Sisterhood: We foster strong bonds among our participants, encouraging support and growth within a community of like-minded young women.
Through Integrity: we operate with transparency and honesty in all aspects of our work, maintaining the trust of our participants, families, volunteers, partners, and donors.
Through Commitment: We are dedicated to the long-term success of our girls and will continue to evolve to meet their needs.
