What Does It Means To Serve On Our Board
Would you like to be more involved in the growth and development of girls between the ages 11-18 throughout the United States? Are looking for a way to pour back into your community? Do you have a desire to be a Change Agent? If you answered yes to these questions, we would like to invite you to apply to join the Keeta’s Place INC Board of Directors. We have several positions open and would love for you to join us! We are looking for people who have a passion for helping girls and want them to succeed in today’s society.
If you can contribute your time (20 hours a month), thoughtfulness, leadership skills, and you are interested in this opportunity please fill out the form below. If you are not applying for an Executive Board Member position before being voted on as an official Board Member of Keeta’s Place INC, you must serve on a committee for at least 3 months. At the Board meeting following your 3 months of service the board member will vote on all current Board applicants and you will be contacted by our Board president or someone from our administrative team. All Board members are required to attend our annual Builders Retreat and participate in at least 1 in person annual fundraising event.
All Potential Board Members must create a profile at www.NonProfitReady.Org and obtain the Nonprofit Board Member Essential Certification and watch the following video: The Role of Nonprofit Board Members in Revenue Generation, and take the following online class: Be an Effective Board Member before they can officially accept a position as a Board Member for Keeta’s Place INC. Every member of Keeta’s Place INC has to complete quarterly training to remain in good standing.
If you choose to apply for the positions of Board President, Board Vice President, Board Secretary or Board Treasure you will be a part of our Executive Team as well as a voting member of the Board of Directors.
